The new dwellings infill a gap in the street scene opposite an Edwardian terrace, the proportions, features and materials of which have been reinterpreted and abstracted to achieve an authentic contemporary contextual response whilst ensuring integration within the setting. The underlying combination of symmetry and asymmetry seen in the Edwardian facades has been deftly reflected, with the bay window motif reinterpreted in frameless glass.
